Y. A proud graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Ms. McGee earned her degree in Pre-Law and Political Science in 1992. Additionally, she is a Certified Litigation Paralegal and a Certified Genealogist, further demonstrating her commitment to excellence and professional development in her field.
An alumna of Woodlawn High School, Ms. McGee has not only excelled academically but has also dedicated herself to giving back to her community. Her involvement with several nonprofit organizations highlights her commitment to service and advocacy on boards such as B.E.A.S.T. Crew, Outreach Services CDC, Families Helping Families Region 7, and the Woodlawn High School Alumni Association.
Ms. McGee's dedication to community service has been recognized through multiple awards, including the Shreveport IG Autism Community Services Award and the VOA Lighthouse Award. In addition to her community service, Ms. McGee is a graduate of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Leadership program, and she is a member of professional organizations such as the Ark-La-Tex Genealogy Association, the National Notary Association, and the National Trial Lawyers Association - Paralegal Affiliation.
Beyond her professional and community endeavors, Y. Evette McGee is a devoted mother, daughter and aunt and values the time spent with family.
